Serving the Applewood Hills & Heights areas in Mississauga East with boundaries from (North to South) Burnhamthorpe to Dundas and (West to East)Cathraw to Dixie. AHHRA's goals are to advocate with and for its members and to keep our community informed and connected.
2024-Sept:
AHHRA’s Save Bloor Subcommittee was pleased to learn that the Ford government is introducing a Bill that aligns with our position on Mississauga’s lane reductions on Bloor Street. We are eager to collaborate with the Province, the City of Mississauga, and all stakeholders—from pedestrians to drivers and cyclists—to develop a well-rounded, excellent design. We recognize the importance of both vehicle lanes and bike lanes in addressing our community's diverse transportation needs. We believe the Provincial Government shares our goal: a balanced solution that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and inclusivity for all users.
Our efforts continue and thank you to everyone for your ongoing support!
